I had the honor of meeting Alicia Bridges after her great performance and talking with her. I asked Alicia how did "I Love The Nightlife (Disco Round)" came about. Alicia said "Well, when I first heard about this song we were going to record it as a country song. After listening to it, it just sucked. We played with the song for a while and decided to change it into a Disco song". I'm glad they did because it became her biggest hit. Thank you again Alicia, I had a great time.
